Emily: I am currently writing a philosophical fiction trilogy based around identity and existentialism, inspired by Kierkegaard's concept of the three stages of existence loosely outlined in Either/Or (1843) and in greater detail in The Stages on Life's Way (1845). These stages are: 1) the aesthetic stage 2) the ethical and finally 3) the religious stage of existence. Each stage is accompanied by certain themes which are the focus of each of the novels in the trilogy. I also write poetry.
